In 1 Peter 4:12-19, we get a primer on suffering. We shouldn't be surprised when we suffer for being a Christ follower because Christ suffered! Instead, we should be glad to suffer for Him. When we do suffer, we should keep on doing what is right in God's eyes and trust our very lives and souls to God, because He is forever faithful.
