S.H.A.P.E. is what Freedom Church is going to be studying for the next couple of months. It is one of the courses offered to promote personal spiritual growth and development through a variety of strategic classes. S.H.A.P.E. is designed to help you discover how God has uniquely shaped you for ministry. In Ephesians 2:10, Paul describes us in this unique way: “For we are God’s masterpieces. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago” (NLT). That makes us very special! Our “S.H.A.P.E.” course will help you discover how God has created YOU as a unique “masterpiece,” and given you a unique “shape” to do the “good things” He has planned for you. In the process, it is our prayer that you will find that place here at Freedom Church and/or in the community at large where you can begin to DO those good things! S=Spiritual Gifts H=Heart A=Abilities P=Personality E=Experiences We will be going through each one of these and looking at them from a biblical perspective with an emphasis on practicing what we are learning. Join us on Sunday mornings at 10 am.

In this sermon, Pastor Scott goes through the two parables in Mark 4 about the Kingdom of God. Jesus talks about the seed, which is the Word of God, and how powerful it is. Jesus also talks about the radical growth of the Kingdom of God. Both parables point to a sovereign ruler. ![]()
We take a break from the Gospel of Mark to look at what it means to be "devoted to... fellowship" (Acts 2). Pastor Scott proposes that the essence of Christian Life is fellowship with God and others. No recording of the sermon this week. ![]()
In this passage, Jesus is misunderstood by his family, misrepresented by the religious leaders, and makes a clear point about sin and belonging to the family of God. ![]()
In this week's message, Pastor Scott lays the biblical foundation for our purpose statement: Freedom Church exists to glorify God by making and growing more followers of Jesus Christ. He also outlines some goals and expectations for 2019. ![]()
In today's workshop, we work through a "Personal Disciple-making Plan." We want every follower of Christ to be making and growing more followers of Christ, all to the glory of God. This practical workshop helps you do just that. Since this was a workshop, there will be no video! ![]()

We all want healthy, deep, vibrant relationships. We all long for meaningful connections with others. But, this isn’t happening. We live in dysfunction. We live disconnected from other people, especially those sitting right next to us. We know it should be different. What we don’t know is how to fix it. Join us as we finish a nine-week series on how to build lasting relationships that matter. What is self-control? How do I experience more of it in all of my relationships? ![]()
